A Halloween event now underway
Roblox announced The Hollow on October 21, 2026, with public access starting October 22. It is a seasonal survival event in a shared hub, bringing monsters from familiar Roblox horror experiences into changing mazes.
The official schedule runs through November 2, with a live finale on October 31. This guide follows that announcement, checked October 24; it is an introduction to the event rather than a claim that we completed its quests.
Where to join
Use the official The Hollow hub linked in the sources below. You will need an eligible Roblox account and the platform's supported play setup. This is a Roblox experience, so do not expect the no-install HTML5 launch used by games in our browser collection.
The announcement says ages nine and older in most regions, with regional differences. Check the account and content requirements on Roblox before joining, particularly for a younger player. The horror theme is part of the event's premise.
Nine nights of changing threats
The event adds a new monster and maze each day over nine days. The announced lineup includes the Deer from 99 Nights in the Forest, Seek from DOORS and Piggy. These are threats within the shared event, not a checklist requiring every original game.
For a first session, identify the current objective and escape route before chasing every reward. In a changing maze, remembering a landmark and noticing the threat's direction can be more useful than following a video from a different day. That is a general approach, not a tested shortcut.
Rewards without false promises
Roblox describes quest rewards and UGC alongside Marketplace items for sale and additional Plus benefits. Those are different routes to items. A seasonal event does not mean every advertised accessory is a free reward.
We do not list unverified codes, free Robux claims or guaranteed drops. Follow the hub's current quest descriptions and official deadline for collection. The source announcement is the reference if a circulating schedule disagrees.
What creators can learn
The interesting design idea is a familiar place that changes one threat at a time. A small original game can explore that structure with a courtyard, lanterns and a limited carrying rule, without copying Roblox monsters or branded assets.
Try the lantern starter in our AI game prompt studio to specify that loop, then read the prompt examples before asking an AI to implement it. For players who want an immediate browser game instead, our collection provides clearly credited alternatives.
