About

A friendlier way to find a tiny game.

PixelGamesHub is a curated mini-game discovery hub for players who want to jump into something playful in two clicks — no installs, no logins, no walls.

What we do

The web is full of tiny games — sliding puzzles, drift races, retro shooters, party brain teasers — but most aggregators feel like ad farms. PixelGamesHub is a hand-picked, design-first front end on top of three sources:

  • Self-hosted classics under permissive licences. A growing set of HTML5 / Canvas games we host ourselves under licences (MIT, GPL, CC) that allow redistribution, with credits preserved on every game page.
  • Vetted partner embeds. Iframes from licensed distributors (GameDistribution, Famobi, and a small shortlist of independent studios) where the rights are clear and the embed contract is documented.
  • AI-native experiments. Original game ideas built and refined alongside the catalog — currently in design and prototype, soon shipped under their own pages.

How the catalog is curated

Every game on the Site goes through the same intake checks before it's listed:

  • Rights gate. We confirm that we either hold the necessary licence (for self-hosted builds), have an embed contract (for partner iframes), or own the work (for in-house experiments). We will not list games that rely on third-party intellectual property without permission.
  • Content safety gate. Mini-games on PixelGamesHub are friendly to a general audience. Anything that contains gambling mechanics, sexual content, hateful imagery, or weapons-glorifying themes is rejected.
  • Quality gate. We play each game on desktop and mobile. If it crashes on first load, demands unreasonable permissions, or buries the gameplay behind ads we did not approve, it does not ship.
  • Honest labelling. Sponsored placements are tagged as such. External-iframe games show a notice on the player page that the build is served by a third-party provider.

Who we are

PixelGamesHub is a small independent project. Editorial, partnerships, and engineering are run by a single maintainer (Yuan Chen) with help from contributors and the open-source authors of the games we host. There is no venture funding, no acquisition pipeline, and no surprise pivot to a different vertical. The Site is supported by ads served through Google AdSense and our distribution partners — see the Privacy Policy for details.

Studios and creators

If you build mini-games and want to be considered, the For Studios page describes the intake path. Submissions go through the same gates as everything else in the catalog and we reply to each one in writing — even if the answer is no.
