Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-19
PixelGamesHub ("PixelGamesHub", "we", "us") operates https://pixelgameshub.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide. If you contact us, submit a game through the For Studios form, or send us feedback, we receive the data you choose to share (such as your name and email address).
- Automatically collected data. When you load a page we receive standard request data including IP address, user-agent, referrer, requested URL, and timestamps. Our hosting provider Vercel logs this data for operational and security purposes.
- Analytics events. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) records page views and interaction events such as clicks on game cards or partner placements. Events are aggregated; we do not upload personally identifying information to GA4.
- Advertising signals. Google AdSense and our publisher partners may set or read cookies and similar identifiers in order to serve and measure advertisements. See "Advertising" below for details and opt-out links.
- Local storage. The Site may use browser local storage to remember non-sensitive preferences (for example, recently played games or consent choices). This data stays on your device.
2. How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and the games we host or embed.
- To understand which games and pages are popular and to fix problems we observe in aggregate analytics.
- To deliver and measure relevant advertisements that fund the free games on the Site.
- To respond to your inquiries when you contact us.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and equivalent technologies in three categories:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function (security, load balancing). These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (for example
_ga,_ga_*) to measure traffic and engagement. Data is processed by Google LLC under their privacy policy. - Advertising. Google AdSense and other ad partners may set cookies (for example
__gads,__gpi,IDE) to deliver, frequency-cap, and measure ads. These cookies may be used to build a profile of your interests and show relevant ads on this Site and elsewhere.
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings, Your Online Choices (EU), DAA WebChoices (US), and NAI Opt-out.
4. Advertising
The Site is supported by advertising. We work with Google AdSense and game-distribution partners (including GameDistribution / Azerion and Famobi) who serve ads, sponsorships, or interstitials around the games. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with consent choices in accordance with the EU GDPR / UK GDPR and applicable ePrivacy rules before non-essential cookies are set. Users in California can exercise rights described under "Your rights" below.
5. Embedded games and third-party iframes
Some games on the Site are embedded from third-party providers and load directly from those providers' servers (for example play.famobi.com, html5.gamedistribution.com, taproad.io). When you load such a game, that provider may receive your IP address, user-agent, and any cookies it has previously set on your browser. We require partners to disclose data practices in their own policies; review the relevant partner policy if you have concerns about a specific game.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) infrastructure providers needed to run the Site (hosting, CDN, image storage); (b) measurement and advertising partners listed above, in the manner they describe in their policies; (c) authorities when required by law or to protect the safety of users.
7. Data retention
Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (we use the minimum retention setting available). Inquiries received by email are retained while we resolve your request and for a reasonable follow-up period.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data; to object to processing or withdraw consent; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other regions with comparable laws can exercise these rights by contacting us at szperone@gmail.com.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
The Site is operated from and served via global edge networks. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including in jurisdictions that do not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) provided by our processors.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or sent to you where we have your contact information.
